My art is for sale

People started to notice. I was working in the studio daily and posting on Instagram and Facebook. During the dark days of covid and even during the slow careful emergence back to real life, people were online a lot; we all needed connection.

I’m honoured when people want to buy my art.  If someone likes what they see - I’m thrilled and happy to sell. Sometimes people ask me to do commission work. Frankly, commissions are a little scary for me. What’s in my head and what’s in their head may not quite be the same. Sometimes people think they will like something they imagine and even if it’s just as they envisioned, it doesn’t quite hit the spot. For these reasons, I generally say no to commission work but I did agree to create for a couple of very close friends.

If you’re gaining and interest in my work, please follow me on instagram at ruthsartbooth. Most of my work is for sale, just send me a message!

Here are a few of the things that have already gone to their forever homes:

6 x 6” watercolour and charcoal on paper

14 x 20” Mixed media on paper

8 x 8” soft pastel on Mi-Tientes Paper

30 x 24” soft pastel on treated gallery canvas
